Some people may be worried that unpainted Cedar chopsticks may be colored by food, but it's surprisingly okay if you wash dark-colored items such as ramen immediately.

If you have a dark color like squid ink, or if you are worried about coloring over time, lightly rub it with sandpaper sold at 100% and it will be clean immediately.
Since Cedar is soft, we recommend a finishing file of # 400 or higher.

It will last longer if you apply a dry oil such as walnut oil, sesame oil, or flaxseed oil.
Olive oil, palm oil, castor oil, etc. are non-drying oils and are not recommended as they will be sticky even if applied.
